Shannon Holmes_actMelissa has been one of the most influential coaches I have had.

Mel first took me on as a 16 year old when and picked me in the Wildcats Tier One team that gave me my first big opportunity. Mel helped me to improve all of my netball skills and increased my confidence in my own ability. 
She is an extremely dedicated and hard working coach. Mel has a wealth of knowledge in all netball skills and having played at a top level has empathy with players.

Mel’s coaching has increased my knowledge and therefore improved my skills.  I have great respect for Mel as a coach and as a person and I am grateful to her for introducing me to exceptional people in our Wildcats team and assisting me to make the Australian Under 19’ Squad.

  • I met Melissa O’Brien some 15 years ago at a Level 1 Coaching clinic at which she was the presenter.

    I was instantly impressed by her enthusiasm and her ability to make the whole weekend lots of fun whilst at the same time to learn a great deal of coaching ideas to pass onto players.
