Calendar
Make your own calendar either weekly or monthly and map out your program.
If you are training your team twice per week, strength and conditioning sessions and matchplay you might want to provide a weekly dairy to players.

- Practice Matches
- Draws
Training Sessions
Please note the above is a guide to your player skill development through the season. There are many more training sessions to choose from. You can include different drills and strategies making sure you are continuing with the theme of the session.
Specialist Sessions
Worksheets
Work Sheets are to be used as a tool to assist you with the progression of your team. They also are a great way to keep records and give you a history of player development and improvement.
Newsletters
If you are coaching players with parents, provide a monthly newsletter to inform parents of what you plan on teaching their children over the next month. Also use the newsletter to communicate eg scoring roster, umpiring, training sessions and draw.
Communicating with Players
Provide each player with a folder at the beginning of the season. Request players bring their folders to each training session so information given to them is put straight into their folder instead of loose in their sports bag or lost.
There are some relevant Blogs for players to read. These Blogs can be copied, pasted, printed off and put in their folders. See ‘Weekly Blog’ for the list of information available for you to copy.
