The Netball season is fast approaching so the Christmas break is perfect time for planning and preparation. Energy Netball has available a season planner to assist you with the introduction of skills, strategies and match play for 2013. Be proactive and organised for your next season of coaching.
How to use this site
Under the ‘Coaching Resources’ Menu you will find all the training sessions, team strategies, specialist sessions and worksheets. You will also be able to access a Season Planner outlining a draft of your seasons training sessions. Click on the highlighted sessions and you will go directly to the session.
‘Questions and Answers’ is an area open to the public. You will find this on the top Menu. Coaches send questions in and Energy Netball replies. This is a great way to exchange ideas and have empathy with fellow Coaches. We have many questions and answers that are not posted due to sensitivity. If you require any assistance as a coach, parent, teacher etc please do not hesitate to drop Energy an email.
The home page has a list of weekly blogs. There is a library of blogs under the ‘Weekly Blog’ Menu. The blogs are informative and interesting. These can be printed out and handed to players and fellow coaches. This area was open to the public and is now only accessed by paid subscribers.
Subscribers can access the e-book ‘Carnival Fever’. This is a children’s book and has been very popular in primary schools. This book is on the right of the home page and also found under the ‘About Us’ Menu.
Under the ‘Subscribe’ Menu, you will find purchase support should you require this. Energy Netball can generate a purchase order for you on request.
To print out the coaching resources, you must hold a current subscription and be logged in to the site.
Browse to the drill/resource you would like to print and click on the small view of the resource/drill located at the top right hand corner of the page.
When the resource/drill opens in full screen there are some simple controls that appear at the very top of the screen when you move your mouse.
The printing icon is second from the right (next to the 'X').
At this time you are only able to print one page/spread at a time, however as most resources are an average of 5 pages, this should not cause too many problems.
If anyone is having difficulty logging on please let me know. If you have forgotten your password this is easy to sort out so please contact us.
In summary, use this Christmas break to plan and prepare for 2013 and have a wonderful Christmas.
Yours in Netball

Since being coached by Mel I have played at Tier 1 level for over 6 years and represented Queensland twice at the aged Nationals.
